
Ilan Hall
Chef Ilan Hall is a celebrated American chef, television personality, and restaurateur, perhaps best known as the winner of the second season of Bravo's "Top Chef." His culinary journey began early, working in a local fish market during high school and leading to an externship in Italy at 17, before ultimately graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. After his formal training, Ilan honed his skills in some of New York City's most renowned kitchens, including Aureole, Craft, and Casa Mono, where he developed a distinctive cooking style influenced by Spanish, Israeli, and fusion cuisines.
Ilan's entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his first restaurant, The Gorbals, in Los Angeles, which later had a Brooklyn outpost.
